Tight frames of wavelets are constructed for vector spaces in \(d\) dimensions over a finite field considering rotational tilings. Sufficient conditions for tight wavelet frame sets are given for constructing wavelets via the inverse Fourier transform. The existence of multiplicative tiling sets in finite vector spaces \(F^d_q\) is also shown. For \(F^d_q\) with \(d\geq 2\) the construction of tight wavelet frame sets is presented for \(q\) being an odd prime and \(q\equiv 3\pmod 4\). Finally, two open questions concerning the existence of tight frames when \(q\equiv 1\pmod 4\) and for extending the results to the case of \(F^d_q\) for \(q= p^\alpha\) are stated, thus motivating future work.
