Let \(G\) be a finite transitive permutation group acting on a set \(X\). Let \(\{R_ i\}_{0\leq i\leq d}\) be the set of orbits of \(G\) acting naturally on \(X\times X\). The pair \((X,\{R_ i\}_{0\leq i\leq d})\) is a commutative association scheme under certain condition. Let \(A_ i\) be the corresponding adjacency matrix of \(R_ i\), then \(A_ i=\sum^ d_{j=0}p_ i(j)E_ j\), where \(\{E_ j;0\leq j\leq d\}\) is the unique set of primitive idempotents in the Bose-Mesner algebra generated by the set of adjacency matrices. Let \(P(G,X)\) denote the matrix whose \((j,i)\)- entry is \(p_ i(j)\). The matrix \(P\) is called the character table of the commutative association scheme \((X,\{R_ i\}_{0\leq i\leq d})\). In this paper, the author calculates the entries in the character table \(P(O(3,q),\Omega)\) of a commutative association scheme defined by the general orthogonal group \(O(3,q)\).
