This paper deals with the following (non)linear elliptic system: \[ \begin{cases}-\nabla\cdot(A\nabla u)=f \\ u=0\text{ on }\partial\Omega, \end{cases}\tag{1} \] where \(\Omega\subset \mathbb R^n\) is a bounded Lipschitz domain, \(f\in L^p(\Omega)\), \(1<p<2\), is \(a\) continuous non-increasing function having linear growth at infinity. The author gives an extension of the \(L^2\)-theory of anisotropic singular perturbations for elliptic problems introduced by M. Chipot. The solution \(u\) of (1) is weak (distribution one) or an entropy one. The author defines the pseudo-Sobolev space \(V_p\) and proves the convergence in \(V_p\) of weak and entropy solutions \(u_{\epsilon}\) to the corresponding unique solution \(u_0(X_{1,\cdot})\) for a.e. \(X_1\) of bvp of the type \[ \begin{cases} -\nabla_{X_2}\cdot(A_{22}\nabla_{X_1} u_0({X_1},\cdot) = f({X_1},\cdot) +a((u_0({X_1},.)), u=u(x)\\ u_0({X_1},\cdot)=0\text{ on }\partial\Omega_{X_1} \end{cases}\tag{2} \] where \(x=(X_1,X_2)\), \(A\) is decomposed in four blocks \(A_{ij}(x)\) and \(\Omega_{X_1}=\{X_2:(X_1,X_2)\in \Omega \}\). The rate of convergence is investigated in cylindrical domains having Lipschitz boundaries. Unicity of weak solutions to (2) is shown for symmetric and continuous \(A\). Otherwise, \(A\in L^{\infty }(\Omega)\).
