The authors study a parametric anisotropic Dirichlet equation given by \[ \begin{cases} -\Delta_{p(z)}u(z)+\xi(z)u(z)^{p(z)-1}=\lambda u(z)^{q(z)-1}+f(z,u(z))&\text{in }\Omega,\\ u \big |_{\partial\Omega}=0, \quad u>0,\quad\lambda>0, \end{cases} \] with exponents \(p,q \in C^{0,1}(\overline{\Omega})\) such that \[ 1<q_- \leq q(z) \leq q_+<p_-\leq p(z) \leq p_+\quad\text{for all }z \in \overline{\Omega}, \] \(\Delta_{p(\cdot)}\) denotes the \(p(z)\)-Laplacian, the potential function \(\xi \in L^\infty(\Omega)\) has changing sign and in the reaction there is a parametric term and a perturbation \(f\) which is \((p_+-1)\)-superlinear and of class \(C^1\) with respect to the second variable. Precisely, the reaction has the competing effects of a parametric concave (sublinear) term and a convex (superlinear) perturbation (the anisotropic concave-convex problem). The authors prove a bifurcation-type theorem describing the changes in the set of positive solutions as the positive parameter \(\lambda\) varies. Moreover, the existence of a minimal positive solution is shown.
