The authors develop a predator-prey system with Beddington-DeAngelis functional response \[ x'(t) = x(t) \left ( r - ax(t)-\frac{by(t)}{x(t) + By(t) +A} \right ), \] \[ y'(t) = y(t) \left ( \frac{kbx(t)}{x(t) + By(t) +A}\;-d \right ), \] by introducing a periodic impulsive catching or poisoning for the prey populations and a constant periodic impulsive immigration for the predator. With this model they can take into account the possible exterior effects under which the population densities change very rapidly. By using the Floquet theory for impulsive equation and small amplitude perturbation skills, they prove the local stability of prey-eradication periodic solution and give a condition for permanence. In addition, they use numerical simulation method to detect that the system has complex dynamics behavior and to show that the parameter \(B\) plays an important role in discussing complexity of the system.
