Let \({\mathcal X}\) be a Banach space of functions defined on [0,1] and \({\hat \phi}^ a \)bounded linear functional on \({\mathcal X}\). A function y defined on [0,\(\infty)\) is an in mean periodic extension to right of the function \(x\in {\mathcal X}\) if: 1) \(y\circ \tau_ s\in {\mathcal X}\), \((\forall)s>0\), where \(\tau_ s(t)=t+s\), \(t\in [0,1]\); 2) \(x=y|_{[0,1]}\) as elements of \({\mathcal X}\); 3) \({\hat \phi}\)(y\(\circ \tau_ s)=0\), (\(\forall)s\geq 0\). The functional \({\hat \phi}\) is a right Delsarte functional if every function \(x\in Ker {\hat \phi}\) admits an unique in mean periodic extension to right. Analogously one defines a left Delsarte functional or a Delsarte functional (bilateral). The author enounces three interesting theorems concerning Delsarte functionals and sketches the proofs.
