Let \(X\) be a dendrite and \(f : X \to X\) be a continuous map. The author considers dendrites for which there exists a subdendrite \(Y\) such that \(Y \subset f(Y)\) are studied. In [Russ. Math. 55, 33--37 (2011; Zbl 1263.37016)] she proved that if a dendrite \(X\) has a countable set of endpoints, then the mapping \(f\) has a periodic point in the subdendrite \(Y\). In this paper she proves that if \(Y\) is a finite tree with \(n\) endpoints then there exists in \(Y\) a periodic point of a period no greater than \(n\). Next it is proved that if a map \(f\) is monotone then the fixed point of \(f\) belongs to \(Y\).
