The authors study conjugacy closed loops (CC-loops) and power-associative CC-loops (PACC-loops). They prove that if \(Q\) is a PACC-loop with nucleus \(N\), then \(Q/N\) is an Abelian group of exponent 12. If in addition \(Q\) is finite, then \(|Q|\) is divisible by 16 or 27. The authors also study some special elements in loops, such as Moufang elements, weak inverse property elements (WIP), and extra elements. In fact, in 1982 \textit{E. G. Goodaire} and \textit{D. A. Robinson} [see Can. J. Math. 34, 662-672 (1982; Zbl 0467.20052)] showed that the nucleus \(N\) of a CC-loop \(Q\) is a normal subloop. In the same paper it was conjectured a fundamental result in the theory of CC-loops. This conjecture was proved in 1991 with the Theorem: Let \(Q\) be a CC-loop with nucleus \(N=N(Q)\). Then \(Q/N\) is an Abelian group.
