In the paper, the Schlesinger equation for \(n\) \textit{triangular} matrices of an arbitrary size \(p\times p\) depending on variables \(a_1,\dots,a_n\in\mathbb C\) is studied. Particular forms of the corresponding scalar equations for matrix elements are discussed. Reviewing the integration of multivalued differential 1-forms on \(M={\mathbb C}\setminus\{a_1,\dots,a_n\}\) over multivalued cycles (elements of homologies of \(M\) with coefficients in local systems), for \(p=2\) the author provides representations of triangular \((2\times2)\)-matrices satisfying the Schlesinger equation \textit{via} integrals of a hypergeometric type. Using these representations he obtains analogous expressions for triangular matrices of an arbitrary size that satisfy the Schlesinger equation, in the case where the eigenvalues of each matrix form an arithmetic progression with the same difference for all matrices.
