Consider the solutions to the \(p\) Laplace equation with \(p>2\). It is well kwown that the propagation of the support has finite speed, i.e., in other words, if a solution has a compact support, will remain with a compact support for any time in the future. This paper is concerned to prove the same result for the speed of the propagation of the support of parabolic quasiminimizers. Since parabolic quasiminimizers are, in some respects, generalizations of solutions to parabolic equations, the results at hand show that the fundamental property of finite speed propagation for solutions of the degenerate parabolic \(p\)-Laplace equation are preserved by passing to quasiminimizers.
