The classical theorem of Titchmarsh says that the Fourier transform of a function from \(L^p(\mathbb R)\), \(1< p \le2\), that satisfies the Lipschitz \(\delta\)-condition with some \(0<\delta\le1\), belongs to \(L^s(\mathbb R)\), \(\frac p{p+\delta p-1}< s\le \frac p{p-1}\). This result also has a counterpart in the discrete setting, i.e., for Fourier series. In the paper an analogous result is proved in the setting of Jacobi expansions, i.e., for expansions with respect to the functions \(\varphi_n^{(\alpha, \beta)}(t)=P_n^{(\alpha, \beta)}(\cos t)/ P_n^{(\alpha, \beta)}(1)\), \(\alpha\ge \beta\ge-1/2\), where \(P_n^{(\alpha, \beta)}\), \(n=0,1,\ldots\), stand for the standard Jacobi polynomials of type \((\alpha, \beta)\). Titchmarsh theorems for Fourier transforms of Hölder-Lipschitz functions on compact homogeneous manifolds have recently been discussed in [\textit{R. Daher} et al., Monatsh. Math. 189, No. 1, 23--49 (2019; Zbl 1418.43002)].
