Let \(M\) be a compact Kähler manifold. The existence of a Kähler- Einstein metric is closely related to the sign of the first Chern class \(C_ 1\) of \(M\). For \(C_ 1<0\) (resp. \(C_ 1=0\)), \textit{T. Aubin} in C. R. Acad. Sci., Paris Sér. A 283, 119-121 (1976; Zbl 0333.53040); resp. \textit{S. T. Yau} in Commun. Pure Appl. Math. 31, 339-411 (1978; Zbl 0362.53049)] produced an affirmative answer. Moreover, to study the case \(C_ 1>0\), \textit{T. Aubin} introduced the invariant \(\xi\) [J. Funct. Anal. Appl. 57, 143-153 (1984; Zbl 0538.53063)]. On the other hand, also for this last case, \textit{G. Tian} [Invent. Math. 89, 225-246 (1987; Zbl 0599.53046)] introduced the invariants \(\alpha\) (similar to \(\xi\)) and \(\alpha_ G(M)\). The second one depends upon the symmetries of \(M\) and was till now calculated for complex dimension two and for some particular cases of Fermat surfaces. The present author shows that \(\alpha(\mathbb{P}_ m\mathbb{C})=1/(m+1)\) (a result already announced, but not proved by Tian) and \(\alpha_ G(\mathbb{P}_ m\mathbb{C})=(m+1)\alpha(\mathbb{P}_ m\mathbb{C})\). As a consequence, the blowing up of \(\mathbb{P}_ m\mathbb{C}\) in \((m+1)\) points can bear a Kähler-Einstein metric.
