The paper deals with asynchronous nonlinear multisplitting methods for solving nonlinear systems of equations. In order to solve the splitting systems, four iterative methods are used: Newton's method, Newton-successive overrelaxation (SOR) method, nonlinear SOR method and SOR-Newton method. Local convergence theorems for the four variants of nonlinear multisplitting methods are given by means of the concept of point of attraction of the iteration. Finally, a numerical example for semilinear elliptic partial differential equation is given.
