The biquaternionic algebra \(\mathbb{Q}\) is an algebra over the field \(\mathbb{C}\) with the base \(\{1,e_1,e_2,e_3\}\) satisfying the relations \[ e_1^2=e_2^2=e_3^2=-1, \] \[ e_1e_2=-e_2e_1=e_3,\,\, e_2e_3=-e_3e_2=e_1,\,\, e_3e_1=-e_1e_3=e_2. \] The author reviews some fundamental universal similarity factorization equalities for biquaternions and matrices of biquaternions. Also some results on singular value decompositions, Schur decompositions, norms etc. are obtained.
