A numerical method for a nonlinear Sobolev equation is proposed. The method uses a space-time discontinuous Galerkin method that is discontinuous in time and continuous in space. The authors prove the existence and uniqueness of the solution to the fully discrete problem as well as the stability of the method. Optimal error estimates are proved and verified by some numerical examples.
