Let \(\Phi ,\Psi \) be multivalued mappings with closed values from a metric space \(X\) into \(Y.\) The solution of the coincidence point problem for \((\Phi ,\Psi )\) is a pair of points \((\xi ,\eta )\in X\times Y\) such that \(\eta \in \Phi (\xi )\cap \Psi (\xi ).\) The authors give estimates of the distance between the solutions of the coincidence problem for two pairs of maps consisting of a covering and a Lipschitz mapping which generalize the recent results of the first author in [Dokl. Math. 89, No. 2, 188--191 (2014); translation from Dokl. Akad. Nauk, Ross. Akad. Nauk 455, No. 4, 379--383 (2014; Zbl 1419.54046)] (see also [Dokl.
