An \(R\)-homogeneous map is a function \(f\colon A\to B\) between \(R\)-modules \(A\) and \(B\) such that for all \(r\in R\) and \(a\in A\), \(f(ra)=rf(a)\). A module \(A\) is called unique addition (UA) if every homogeneous map on \(A\) is a homomorphism, and endomorphic if every \(R\)-homogeneous self-map which commutes with all endomorphisms is an endomorphism. The problems considered by the author are to determine, for the case \(R=\mathbb Z\), the UA and the endomorphic Abelian groups. The main results are that a group is UA if and only if it is a direct sum of locally cyclic torsion groups or a torsion-free group of rank 1; direct sums of homogeneous fully transitive quotient divisible groups are endomorphic; and torsion-free groups of finite rank are endomorphic if and only if their quasi-decomposition into irreducibles has the property that every quasi-summand is either strongly indecomposable or is quasi-isomorphic to another quasi-summand.
