The authors extend the results of \textit{J. Szabados} [Anal. Math. 34, No.~1, 59--69 (2008; Zbl 1174.42035)] and prove uniform convergence for the weighted Jacobi-Fouries series. The paper is well written, quite technical, and should be of interest to a large audience.
