The author gives a complete description of groups G which can be written as products of two locally cyclic, torsion free subgroups A and B. He shows that there are five basic possibilities and describes each one in detail. This result solves problem 2.70b of the Kourovka Notebook (1986; Zbl 0625.20001) posed by N. F. Sesekin.
