The paper describes some graded mesh collocation schemes for the solution of second kind Volterra integral equations of convolution type. The graded meshes introduced here are different from those previously used for Wiener-Hopf equations. The paper is structured as follows: after an introduction, the numerical schemes are described, alternative meshes are introduced and local and global error estimates are given based on different assumptions about the smoothness of the solution.
