The article studies geodesics in an approximate solution to the Einstein equations for a rotating body with negligible mass due to Tartaglia. It is argued that the motion of test particles will lead to unwanted effects for physical parameters accessible in a laboratory. This is taken as an indication that the used approximation method might not lead to physically acceptable results.
