The known orthogonal spatially homogeneous exact solutions with perfect fluid source are classified by the power asymptote they admit (that is, by the lowest power of t in a power series expansion in terms of t near the singularity \(t=0)\). In many cases this leads to simpler forms of the known solutions and suggests methods of deriving new ones.
