This paper is a formal attempt to relate the concept of nonlocality to ''unified'' gauge fields and to Finslerian fields, the nonlocality being carried, in analogy with the case of a bilocal field, by an internal variable \(\omega^ A\) attached to each point \(X^ a\) of the local field manifold (thus leading to iterated tangent bundles). The author considers as an example a vectorial nonlocal field \(\Psi^{\alpha}(x,\xi)\) in an underlying Finsler space with the metric \(h_{\alpha \beta}(x,\xi)\), and interprets \(\xi\) as formally related either to the electromagnetic field or to a fluctuating gravitational field.
