The space C of all real continuous functions on \([0,1] (\sup | f(x)- g(x)|\) is the distance between f and g) is a Baire space. The same is valid for the subspace \(M\subset C\) of all increasing continuous functions. If an element of some Baire space has a certain property, whereas the set of those elements which do not enjoy that property is of first Baire category, then this element is called a typical element. The author proves, in continuation of an earlier study [cf. Am. Math. Mon. 88, 47-49 (1981; Zbl 0462.26004)], several theorems on typical functions of M. E.g.: For a typical function \(f\in M, f'=0\) almost everywhere; a typical function \(f\in M\) is not differentiable at most points of \([0,1];\) and others.
