Let \(E\) be a sequence space and \(S\) a BK-space on which a sum is defined in the sense of [\textit{W.\,H.\,Ruckle}, ``Sequence spaces'' (Research Notes in Mathematics 49, Pitman, Boston--London--Melbourne) (1981; Zbl 0491.46007)]. Here, the authors continue their study of the dual pair \((E, E^S)\), where \(E^S\) is the space of all factor sequences from \(E\) into \(S\). They give some general theorems and from these they deduce several corollaries some of which generalize familiar results. In particular, they show that for FK-spaces in which the subspace of all finitely nonzero sequences is dense, the SB-property implies the SK-property. They also give a generalization of the well-known factorization theorem of \textit{D.\,J.\,H.\,Garling} [Proc.\ Camb.\ Philos.\ Soc.\ 63, 997--1019 (1967; Zbl 0161.10305)]. [Parts I and II appeared in Int.\ J.\ Math.\ Math.\ Sci.\ 28, No.\,1, 9--23 (2001; Zbl 1007.46005), Proc.\ Est.\ Acad.\ Sci., Phys.\ Math.\ 51, No.\,1, 3--17 (2002; Zbl 1015.46005), respectively.]
