Modeling microstructure evolution for various material involves advanced numerical algorithms, in particular five moving mesh fast Fourier transforms on uniform grids. A new numerical scheme is proposed to solve the associated phase-field equations, which combines the adaptive moving mesh method with the semi-implicit Fourier spectral algorithm. Numerical examples are worked out for two and three dimensional microstructure simulations and an efficiency of the new proposal is compared with results obtained by other methods.
