It is known that finite groups in which all abelian or all cyclic subgroups have complements belong to the class of completely factorizable groups, i.e., groups in which all subgroups have complements. A group is called metacyclic if it is an extension of a cyclic (in particular, a unitary) group by a cyclic group. In the paper, finite solvable groups with abelian Sylow subgroups whose nonmetacyclic subgroups have complements are described.
