    \(\mathbb F_q\) sei ein endlicher Körper mit \(q\) Elementen und \(K/\mathbb{F}_q\) sei eine endlich erzeugte Erweiterung vom Transzendenzgrad 1, derart daß \(K\) und der algebraische Abschluß \({\tilde {\mathbb{F}}}_q\) linear disjunkt über \({\mathbb{F}}_q\) sind. Dann existiert eine (beliebig große) natürliche Zahl \(n\) und ein Element \(x\in K\) so, daß \(\tilde K/{\tilde {\mathbb{F}}}_q(X)\) separabel vom Grad \(n\) ist und \(\mathrm{Gal}(\tilde K/{\tilde {\mathbb{F}}}_q(X))\) zur symmetrischen Gruppe \(S_n\) isomorph ist, wobei \(\tilde K\) die Galoissche Hülle von \(K{\tilde {\mathbb{F}}}_q/{\tilde {\mathbb{F}}}_q(X)\) bezeichnet. Dies kann als eine Verallgemeinerung eines Satzes von \textit{M. L. Madan} and \textit{D. J. Madden} [Commun. Algebra 8, 1687--1697 (1980; Zbl 0435.12007)] betrachtet werden.
