The author states that, under certain conditions on a hypoelliptic scalar pseudodifferential operator A defined on the unit circle S, \[ Au(\phi)=(2\pi)^{-2}\sum_{k,\ell \in Z}\int_{S}\int_{S}a(\psi,\frac{k+\ell}{2})e^{ik(\phi -\psi)+i\ell (\psi -\theta)}u(\theta)d\theta d\psi, \] with symbol \(a(\phi,\zeta)\in S^ n_{\rho,\delta}\), there exists a Fourier integral operator F defined on S, which is continuous and with continuous inverse in \(L^ 2(s)\), \(C^{\infty}(S)\) and \({\mathcal E}'(S)\), such that \(F^{- 1}AF=\lambda (-\partial_{\phi})+...\), where \(\lambda (\xi)\in HS^{\nu,\mu}_{1,0}\subset HS^{\nu}_{1,0}\) is some smooth function and the three dots stand for an integral operator on S with bounded smooth kernel.
