Die Arbeit liefert eine simultane Herleitung oberer und unterer Schranken für das Newton-Verfahren von \textit{G. Miel} [Computing 27, 237-244 (1981; Zbl 0451.65042)] sowie vier weiteren Autoren und eine Wertung derselben. Nach einem Überblick über Newton-Verfahren in partiell geordneten Räumen wird eine komponentenweise a posteriori Abschätzung dargestellt.
