A nonlinear system \(\overset\circ x=f(x,u,v)\), \(y=h(x)\), \(z=k(x)\) on a manifold M is considered. The linear concept of (C,A) (or conditioned) invariant subspace is generalized to the definitions of (h,f) invariant and locally (h,f) invariant distribution D. The two definitions coincide on an open subset of M. They are used to solve the problem of tracking the output signal z(t) in spite of the unknown disturbance w(t). The results are compared with the analogous ones for the linear case.
