The author proposes two dual formulations for the three-dimensional eddy- current problem. These formulations give a boundary operator which is connected with the behaviour of the field away from the considered domain, providing boundary conditions for a treatment by the use of mixed finite elements associated with the boundary element method. The boundary integral approach is discretized by both mixed finite elements as well as by boundary elements. At the end the author gives the numerical procedures to the approximation of the obtained operators.
