The authors study some relationships between complex interpolation for families of Banach spaces and spectral theory. In particular they extend results of \textit{I. Ya Sneiberg} [Math. Issled., No.2(32), 214-229 (1974; Zbl 0314.46033)] and \textit{M. Zafran} [J. Funct. Anal. 36, 185-204 (1980; Zbl 0429.47002)], for the classical method of complex interpolation.
