[For part I, cf. the author and \textit{T. Hirai}, ibid. 63, 235-238 (1987; Zbl 0642.17017).] The problem of analyzing all irreducible unitary representations of the special linear Lie superalgebra \({\mathfrak sl}(n/1)\) is considered. It is shown that any such representation is equivalent to a highest or lowest weight module. Then, a method is described in order to find the maximal submodule \(I(\Lambda)\) of the so-called Kac module \(\bar V(\Lambda)\) for given highest weight \(\Lambda\). The irreducible highest weight module \(V(\Lambda)\) is the quotient module \(\bar V(\Lambda)/I(\Lambda)\). The method itself is straightforward in the sense that it requires explicit calculations of the Lie superalgebra action on \(\bar V(\Lambda)\), level by level. Then, the technique is applied to the case of \({\mathfrak sl}(2/1)\). The results obtained for this case coincide with the ones published by \textit{M. Marcu} [J. Math. Phys. 21, 1277-1283 (1980; Zbl 0449.17001)], except that here the unitarity is also discussed.
