GBRD's: Some new constructions for difference matrices, generalized Hadamard matrices and balanced generalized weighing matrices (Q1262868): Difference between revisions

Some new constructions are given for matrices, which are special generalized Bhaskar Rao designs. These matrices are difference (D) matrices, generalized Hadamard (GH) matrices and balanced generalized weighing (BGW) matrices. In particular, the following matrices are constructed: \(GH(q(q-1)^ 2;EA(q))\), when q and q-1 are both prime powers, EA(q) is the elementary abelian group of order q; \(D(k(k-1)^ 2,n^ 2\lambda h;H)\), if there exists a D(k,\(\lambda\) h;H) and a GH(n;G), where \(q+1=\lambda h\); \(BGW((q^ 4-1)/(q-1),q^ 3,q^ 2(q- 1);H)\), if there exists a GH(q;G) and \(BGW(q+1,q,q-1;H)\).
