The paper deals with the complex two-parameter Ginzburg-Landau equation. If both parameters are equal to zero, then this equation formally becomes the nonlinear Schrödinger equation. The author investigates the problem whether the solution of the Ginzburg-Landau equation tends to the solution of the Schrödinger equation. He emphasizes that the answer is not simple when the initial data are not smooth. If initial data are in \(L^2\), the author estimates the convergence rate with bounds depending on the gradient of the solution. A similar estimate is also proved if initial data are in \(L^p\) for some special values \(p\). After that the author considers the \(H^1\) inviscid limit and finds the corresponding convergence rate in \(H^1\).
