Limit theorems for \(U\)- and \(V\)-statistics determined by generalized polynomial kernel functions are proved employing limit distributions of empirical power processes for independent triangular arrays of random variables. Under some additional conditions the limit distributions are discussed in more detail. The one-sample and multi-sample cases are considered.
