The author considers the \(2n\)th-order differential operator \[ B_\lambda= A+ N_\lambda I: C^{2n}[0, 1]\to C[0,1], \] where \(A: C^{2n}[0,1]\to C[0,1]\) is a linear or nonlinear operator and \(I: C^{2n}[0,1]\to C[0,1]\) is the identity operator, \(N_\lambda(x)= d_0\lambda^2+\lambda N(x)\) with \(d_0\in\mathbb{R}\), \(\lambda\in C\) and \(N(x)\in C[0,1]\) is a real function. He presents a regularity theorem for \(B_\lambda\) in case \(B_\lambda\) is linear nonsymmetric and in case of nonlinear \(B_\lambda\). In the first case, the author gets \((n+3)\) homeomorphism classes and in the second case with real \(B_\lambda\), \((n+2)\) homeomorphism classes. The results can be used in the study of two-direction stability properties of some objects in their moving processes.
