Some general liminf results are established for a standard two-parameter Wiener process. The main result is a kind of law of iterated logarithm stated in a rather general form. Some earlier results in this direction [see \textit{M. T. Lacey}, Stochastic Processes Appl. 32, No. 2, 355-367 (1989; Zbl 0677.60032)] are improved.
