Let \(P\) be some projective plane. The following assertion is called \textit{Ceva transitivity}: If the points \(P_1,P_2,P_3\) are not collinear and \(Q_1,Q_2,Q_3\) with \(Q_i \in P_{i+1}P_{i+2}\setminus\{P_{i+1}, P_{i+2}\}\) (indices modulo 3) are also not collinear and the three lines \(P_iQ_i\) meet in some common point, then for any points \(R_i \in Q_{i+1}Q_{i+2}\setminus\{Q_{i+1}, Q_{i+2}\}\), \(i=1,2,3\), such that \(Q_iR_i\) are concurrent, the three lines \(P_iR_i\) are also concurrent. The author shows that in a Moufang plane of characteristic \(\neq 2\) Ceva transitivity is equivalent to the validity of Pappos' Theorem. Moreover, he investigates two special cases of Ceva transitivity in arbitrary projective planes.
