The author considers nonlinear hyperbolic equation with continuously distributed deviating arguments \[ {\partial^2\over\partial t^2} [u+ \lambda(t)u(x,t- \tau)]= a(t)\Delta u- c(x,t,u)- \int^b_a q(x,t,\xi) u[x,g(t,\xi)] d\sigma(\xi)+ f(x,t) \] subject to boundary condition of Dirichlet, Neumann or mixed type. Oscillation criteria for the solutions of the above problems are obtained via averaging technique.
