Dans les algèbres pondérées, on fait apparaitre, par des techniques de polarisation, des relations entre polynômes symétriques de degrés différents concernant des éléments de poids un. La différence de degré de ces pôlynomes entraine l'existence d'une forme linéaire liée à un relation de puissances. Les auteurs étudient le lien entre ces situations et les propriétés de structure qui en résultent, qui sont souvent en rapport avec l'existence d'idempotents non triviaux.
