    The authors study general Kolmogorov-type predator-prey models with delay: \[ x'(t)= x(t) f(x(t-\tau), y(t-\tau)), \qquad y'(t)= y(t) g(x(t- \tau), y(t-\tau)). \] They give sufficient conditions that the system is not persistent or that it exhibits extinction.
