The author claims existence and uniqueness theorems for the following Cauchy problem: \[ A_ 2u_{tt} + A_ 1u_ t + A(t)u + M(u) = f(t), \quad u(0) = u_ 0,\;A_ 2u_ t(0) = A_ 2^{1/2} u_ 1. \] Here \(A_ 1\), \(A_ 2\), \(A(t)\) are linear positive operators in a Hilbert space \(H\).
