For \(C^{1,1}\) functions, this paper defines the generalized Hessian as the set of certain symmetric bilinear forms in infinite dimensional spaces. Relations with other existing definitions of generalized Hessians and generalized directional derivatives are discussed. Calculus rules and applications are presented.
