The authors refer closely to a paper of \textit{F. Stummel} [SIAM J. Numer. Anal. 16, 449-471 (1979; Zbl 0418.65058)] and apply the convergence analysis developed there to get a similar result for an axisymmetric region. For that purpose they introduce weighted Sobolev spaces and transfer the ideas of the generalized patch test and of the FEM test developed by \textit{Z. C. Shi} [Math. Comput. 49, 391-405 (1987; Zbl 0648.65075)] to different isoparametric finite elements.
