Discrete-time periodic linear systems described by a transfer matrix in the \(z\) domain are considered. The results of the paper are formulated in two theorems. In the first theorem, conditions for the existence of rational transfer matrices for output feedback such that the closed loop system is periodic are presented. The second theorem deals with the existence of a stabilizing output feedback for periodic systems.
