The complicated trajectory behaviors in the Lorenz equation (Q1433577): Difference between revisions

The authors show that all nontrivial trajectories of the Lorenz system cross two special Poincaré projections under some conditions. By writing down instants at which these orbits travel through the Poincaré projections, one may be able to capture some periodic orbits embedded in the Lorenz attractor.
