The nonlinear dynamic response of a cylindrical carbon black filled rubber isolator can be described by force models which include a nonlinear shape factor based elastic model, a fractional derivative viscoelastic model and a generalized friction force model. The resulting dynamic stiffness matches experimentally observed increase with static precompression and frequency, and decrease with dynamic excitation amplitude.
