Während Salmon in seinen ``Kegelschnitten'' das im Titel genannte Problem durch Anwendung de Carnot'schen Satzes oder der Involutionseigenschaften löst, wird hier die Axe der Parabel, die durch vier gegebene Punkte gehen soll, mit Benutzung des Pascal'schen Satzes und der Construction von mittleren Proportionalen construirt.
